Version

Optional platform attachment

The platform was developed so the same base machine can also be used outside the harvest period. Many growers prefer not to buy and maintain a separate platform vehicle when the base machine is already available and strong enough to carry out the work.

Fast mounting

The platform is fixed to the machine with a few bolts. There are no folding parts, hydraulics or sliding mechanisms. Once the process is known, mounting or removal usually takes around five minutes. A short video is also available on our website to show the steps.

Use for different tasks

The platform is used for pruning, tying, thinning and, under certain conditions, opening or closing hail nets. It was never designed to replace a lifting platform, but to cover the many jobs where a smaller and lighter setup is more practical and has its advantages. The reinforced base also makes it possible, in suitable orchard layouts, for two people to work at the same time on opposite sides of the row.

Working height and field fit

Depending on the model, the standing height on the platform is between 1.28 m and approx. 1.48 m. This covers the work area from roughly 1.50m to 3.50m on the tree. Row widths usually range between 2.20m and 3.50m, and the version is prepared based on the spacing the grower works with.

FAQs

Since the Lady was originally designed as a bin trolley, it doesn’t have the necessary stability to support a large platform with two people. That’s why we developed the Berglady and Landlady — both offering greater stability and a wider wheelbase, allowing for more versatile tasks, more people on board, and a higher load capacity.
Both platforms are basically the same when you're working with the machine. The biggest difference is that the Landlady's platform is mounted even more sturdily so that it can be used purely as a platform vehicle, whereas the Berglady platform can be mounted and dismounted at any moment as the Berglady gets used in most cases primarily also to harvesting.
